Today, Samsung officially announced the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, and just like the previous version, the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) stands for Fan Editions.
This device features most of the key specifications that the Galaxy S21 has, including the Snapdragon 888 processor and a 120Hz refresh rate screen, at a lower price.
The Galaxy S21 FI comes with a 6.4-inch screen, which is slightly larger than the 6.2-inch screen of the Galaxy S21. However, they have a lot in common, as both feature a 1080p OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Even the design is similar, with the prominent camera module merging with the side edge of the phone. However, it comes with a low-cost plastic back with a matte finish, but the screen is large and bright and suitable for the refresh rate of 120Hz. It measures 74.5 x 155.7 x 7.9 mm and weighs approximately 177 grams.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with a 5nm manufacturing accuracy in the United States, and Samsung’s Exynos processor elsewhere. The processor will be paired with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.
It also includes a triple-lens rear camera module that includes a 12MP f/1.8 main camera with optical stabilization like the S21, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom. As for the front camera, it comes inside a hole at the top of the middle of the screen with a resolution of 32 megapixels.
As for the battery, it has a better battery capacity, with a 4,500 mAh cell compared to the 4,000 mAh in the S21, although its slightly larger screen is likely to do equal battery performance. It supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and IP68 water and dust resistance rating but does not support the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Last year, Samsung modified the original Galaxy S20 wallpapers for the Galaxy S20 FE. And the company continues its line with the new Galaxy S21 FE. Yes, the company has set default Galaxy S21 wallpapers for the Galaxy S21 FE. Speaking of numbers, the device packs nine wallpapers including three Galaxy DeX wallpapers and six built-in images. These images have a resolution of 1920 x 1920 and 2340 x 2340 pixels. Here are the low-resolution preview shots.
