Xiaomi’s sister company Poco has announced two new phones, the third generation of the F-series phones known as the Poco F3, along with a new X-series phone slated for the Poco X3 Pro. Speaking of both phones, the Poco X3 Pro is last year’s Poco X3 NFC successor. While the company is renting the Poco F3 as a replacement for the Poco F2 Pro. The star of the show – The Poco F3 features a Snapdragon 870 chipset, a 4520mAh battery, a 48MP triple-lens camera module, a 120Hz refresh rate panel, and more. Poco has renamed Redmi K40 as Poco F3, the device shares the same design we saw on Redmi K40. Before we head to the specs, here’s a sneak peek at the Poco F3’s details. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Poco F3 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 5G processor and runs on MIUI 12 (for POCO) based on Android 11. The Poco F3 is officially in two variants of 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage options.
The camera is the title-worthy feature of the Poco F3. The device works with a triple lens camera unit. The Poco F3 comes with a 48MP primary camera sensor with f / 1.8 and 0.8μm aperture, PDAF, HDR, support for 4K video recording, and support for other essential features. It also carries an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens along with a 5MP macro camera. While at the front, the Poco F3 comes with a 20MP selfie camera sensor with f / 2.5 aperture.
