The iPhone 13 is expected to be launched by the end of September 2021. This was confirmed by an analyst referring to the Asian supply chain to Apple. This date corresponds to the date on which the company’s previous phones were launched, although it states that it can be postponed until the beginning of October. However, we are facing the first sign of a return to normality in terms of the official launch date for Apple products.
Apple launched new iPhones in the second week of September years ago. In 2020, due to production problems caused by the Coronavirus, iPhone 12 was postponed to October. The event was also held online, without the presence of journalists and correspondents at the company’s headquarters.
According to analyst Dan Ives, the iPhone will return to its usual launch date in September, and it is also possible to hold a face-to-face event, and the question is who will be able to go, who will be able to travel and who will not.
Finally: There is a good chance that the iPhone 13 does not have that name and that Apple chooses a name that does not show this number, or goes directly to iPhone 14. It could also be a good opportunity to completely change the naming scheme for smartphones from the company.
