OnePlus Nord CE 2 OxygenOS 12 Update starts rolling out Based on Android 12

OnePlus has released the version of the user interface (OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1) based on Android 12 for its OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G device that was announced last February with a previous version of OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11.

According to recent reports, the release of OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1 brings an updated user interface and new features to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 along with improvements to Shelf and Dark Mode.

Features of OnePlus Nord CE 2 OxygenOS 12 Update

1- System

• Enhanced desktop icons with improved textures, using a completely new textures inspired design and unifying lights and layers.
• Improved (AI System Booster) to 2.1 to support smooth system operation even when the load is high.
• Improved software algorithm and improved face recognition to better identify the features and skin tone of different shapes.

2- Dark mode

• Recently added three adjustable levels, making it even more customizable than before.

3- Shelf

• Newly added style options for cards, making data contents clearer and easier to read.
• Newly added accessibility to (OnePlus Scout in Shelf), allowing to search multiple contents on your phone, including apps, settings, media data, etc.
• Newly added card (OnePlus Watch) in the rack to easily look at your health.

4- Work Life Balance

• The newly added work-life balance feature allows you to easily switch between work-life mode through quick settings.
• Newly supported automatic work/life mode switching, based on specific locations, Wi-Fi and time, and provides custom app notification profiles according to customization showroom.
• Newly supported switching between different layouts with a two-finger tap gesture, intelligently identifying the best quality images, cropping thumbnail based on content, making gallery layout more interesting.

5- Canvas AOD

• Various styles of fonts and colors are newly added, for a more personalized lock screen experience with inspirational images.
• Several brushes and borders added recently and color adjustment support.

But before proceeding with the update installation, you should be aware of the problems it has, the time on AOD is displayed abnormally, and the video details do not include location information.

Also, if you create a WhatsApp replica using the App Cloner feature, the clone may not play audio when the phone is connected to wireless earbuds.
