The Chinese company, Xiaomi, has quietly announced its Redmi 10 smartphone. At the moment, the device has been announced for Malaysian. But the phone is expected to reach more other markets in the coming days. Redmi 10 brings updated specifications and features. Let’s take a detailed look at the specifications of this phone along with its price and availability in the market.
Redmi 10 Details
The Redmi 10 features a plastic body and comes in three colors: Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue. The former two have a matte finish while the latter has a glossy finish. The device has dimensions of 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm and weighs 181 grams.
The Redmi 10 carries a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a variable AdaptiveSync refresh rate (45 Hz, 60 Hz, and 90 Hz) and a central hole in the screen for the front camera. The screen supports both reading mode 3.0 as well as sunlight display.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor supported by up to 6GB of random access memory (RAM) and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is running Android 11 operating system with MIUI 12.5 interface.
As for the camera, the Redmi 10 has a quad rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. For selfies and video calls, it uses an 8-megapixel front camera inside a central hole in the screen.
