Recently, reports revealed that Oppo has already started working on the development of its new flagship series Oppo Find X5, which it plans to launch in its home country of China soon. Some specifications of the series phones that will feature the regular Oppo Find X5 and the Find X5 Pro models have been leaked.
Now, a new leak from Digital Chat Station reveals that the official launch of the Find X5 series of phones could take place at the end of February this year. Besides, the company will also launch some other products at the same event.
Oppo Find X5 Details
This leak is consistent with previous reports that indicated that the OPPO Find X5 series will become official in the Chinese market in February 2022. It is likely that there will be two models, Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, while global markets can get a third model named Find X5 Lite.
It is said that OPPO Find X5 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, thus it will be the first phone to work with this new processor. On the other hand, the Pro model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Both phones will be equipped with a MariSilicon X chip with an artificial intelligence (NPU) accelerator for image processing. The OPPO Find X5 Pro is expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 screen with QHD+ display quality that will provide a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is said to have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The screen will have a hole punch for the 32MP Sony IMX709 camera for taking selfies and video calls. At the back, the smartphone will have a triple-lens camera module consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical stabilization (OIS) support, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 13MP third camera.
The phone will run Android 12 out of the box with the company’s own ColorOS 12 interface. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and will come with support for 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
