Finally, after a torrent of leaks, Samsung opened the New Year 2022 by announcing the new fan version phone, the Galaxy S21 FE … the long-awaited phone … looks like the S21 with some modifications and concessions, but it preserved the basic features to come at an acceptable price.
The design of the Galaxy S21 FI was similar to the S21 series phones in terms of appearance. The front end came with slim edges, with a hole in the middle above the front camera. From the back, we find the cameras arranged within a prominent rectangular frame at the top left, and connected to the body of the device, much like the regular S21 phone. In terms of workmanship, the back of the phone is covered with reinforced plastic with a rough matte finish, but it collects few fingerprints. The frame is aluminum, and the screen is protected by tough Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
To the right of the phone we find the power button and the volume control buttons, and from the bottom there is an external audio headset, a USB Type-C port and a two-SIM port, and there is no 3.5 mm input to connect wired headphones. The device supports IP68 water and dust resistance, ensuring that the phone withstands water up to one and a half meters for 30 minutes.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S21 FE comes with the same hardware as the S21 family. The Snapdragon 888 processor supports connectivity to 5G networks, and it is an eight-core processor with a 5nm manufacturing accuracy of up to 2.9GHz. The graphics processor is Adreno 660. The RAM capacity is 6 or 8 GB, and the internal storage capacity is 128 or 256 GB, and an external chip cannot be installed.

In terms of cameras, Samsung made a good photography triple lineup. The primary lens is 12 megapixels with optical stabilization and supports autofocus via Dual Pixel technology. And Samsung gave the makers of Falluge content a new option through Dual Recording technology, or dual recording, which allows recording videos using the front and rear lenses at the same time.
The Google Camera app is one of the best alternatives to the stock camera app. Also, it has features like Astrophotography mode, Night vision mode, PhotoSphere, Slow Motion, Playground (AR stickers), RAW support, HDR+ mode, Panorama, Lens Blur, Portrait mode (with Focus Slider), Google Lens mode and a little more. Also, the latest Google Camera 8.3 has a lot of core features, along with a better Google Camera optimization. The quality of Google Camera photos is better than the stock camera in some places. - At first, download this config file on your smartphone.
- Now create a new folder with GCam name.
- Open GCam folder and create one more folder with configs7 name.
- Now paste the config file inside the configs7 folder.
- Once done, Open the Google Camera app and double tap on the black blank area placed next to the shutter button.
- Tap on the settings shown (with s21fe-exynos.xml), available in the popup & press the restore button.
- Go back to the app drawer and then open the app again.
