Nothing Tech is gearing up to launch its first phone, Nothing Phone (1) on July 12, and it will be available in India on the same date. Customers can also pre-order the phone through Flipkart.
Nothing Phone 1 Details
With the launch date approaching, the company has been teasing the phone that will get many features such as a 120Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint sensor, and Snapdragon 778+ processor.
Now, the brand has teamed up with Indian YouTuber Technical Guruji who gave us our first look at the phone box.
Through the YouTuber’s video, the rumor that Nothing Phone (1) will not contain a charger has been confirmed.
In addition, the video also confirms that the Nothing Phone (1) is made from recycled plastic and that the frame of the device is also made of recycled aluminum.
The video shows that the box for the device is made from recycled materials without using any plastic materials in order to preserve the environment.
Nothing seems to have followed in the footsteps of brands like Apple and Samsung who do not provide a charger for their premium mid-range devices due to environmental reasons. It may be because customers already have a charger from the brand, so they don’t need another charger.
Nothing Phone (1) has been spotted on certification sites with 33W fast charging support, but the device charger offers up to 45W fast charging support.
This move is likely to be a cost-cutting measure as it is rumored that the brand will launch the phone at a high price.
