The Redmi brand today announced the first phone in the K50 family, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition – the first phone in the awaited series.
It is expected that the company will announce during the next few weeks about the rest of the series phones, which are the Redmi k50, Redmi k50 Pro and Redmi k50 Pro + phones.
Redmi K50 Gaming Specs
The phone came with a 6.67-inch OLED screen that supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz with FHD + resolution, with a display quality of 1080 x 2400 pixels and is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus. The screen also supports HDR10 + and has a DisplayMate A + certification and supports P3 color gradation.
Designed in collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team, the gaming edition phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The rear end of the phone includes three camera lenses installed in an island in the shape of a rectangle at the top left, the main 64-megapixel sensor with a Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, at an angle of 120 degrees, and a third 2-megapixel lens for macro, and the front camera is accurately 20 Megapixels in a center hole Sony IMX596 sensor.
Another detail of the phone’s configuration is that it has an X-axis 1016 motor made using a multi-polar magnetic structure and provides more powerful vibration and lower noise, and it has the same 130Hz resonance frequency as iPhone phones, with a transient vibration amount of 5.12Gpp More than what’s on the iPhone 13.
The phone has JBL wide range speakers in addition to the traditional dual stereo speakers, and additional speakers can be installed on each side.
Redmi K50 gaming keeps the pop-up button to help a better gaming experience and the strengthening and magnification of the button has been improved as the number of magnets on the button has been increased to 8 in order to improve stability and non-vibration.
The battery capacity of the phone is 4700 mAh, and it supports fast charging with a capacity of 120 watts, where the phone can be fully charged in 17 minutes, relying on the multi-dimensional heat dissipation system.
