The list of Samsung phones that will get Android 12 Based On One UI 4.0
Although Samsung has not officially confirmed its new interface, One UI 4.0 yet, it will already be based on the new operating system Android 12 and it will represent a major developmental step on the One UI 3.5 interface. The final version of the interface is expected to appear in August with the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 phones.
Samsung One UI 4.0 will be the ninth update to the One UI version from Samsung. As expected, some Galaxy phones and tablets will be eligible for the Android 12-based firmware update, and some phones will be excluded as well.
Moreover, Android 12 will be the latest major firmware update for some Galaxy devices. The list of these devices will include Galaxy phones and tablets, which are expected to receive Android 12 and One UI 4.0 at some point in the future, according to Samsung’s Android update policy.
It should be noted that Samsung is now offering three major Android OS updates for Galaxy phones and tablets instead of two. This policy is available for Galaxy devices released in 2019 and later with Android 9 or later.
This list is not final and may change in the future, and we will update it in the coming months with the approaching release of Android 12 update and One UI 4.0.
