After upgrading its 2021 premium smartphones to the MIUI 13 update based on the Android 12 operating system in China, Xiaomi now offers the update to the middle-class smartphones from last year, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G comes in the list of the latest phones that will get on this update.
Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 13 update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in China. The new system Redmi Note 10 Pro MIUI 13 arrives with the version number V188.8.131.52.SKPCNXM. Apart from bringing new MIUI features, it also upgrades the Android version to Android 12.
And like any OTA (Over-The-Air) update, this update is also rolled out in batches. This means that only a select few users are receiving the new update at the moment.
And since MIUI 13 and Android 12 are the first major MIUI and Android updates, the phone is likely to receive at least one major MIUI update as well as Android updates in the future.
Specifications of Redmi Note 10 Pro with MIUI 13 interface
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, touch sampling rate up to 240Hz, and a center hole for the front camera. The screen supports the 6-stage refresh rate function, so this means that the screen refreshes at 30 Hz, 48 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz or 120 Hz depending on the content.
The phone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 1100 processor supported by 8GB of LPDDR4x random access memory, and 256GB of internal storage of UFS 3.1 type. Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G comes with a Quad Cooling System of VC, graphite, thermal conductive gel and copper foil to provide a heat dissipation area of 16370 mm².
As for photography and video, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G comes with a triple rear camera consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera.
